Welcome to Pettersen Brandy, a harmonious blend of Norwegian vision and Spanish tradition, where we create unique brandy tailored to discerning palates.
Our journey begins with the distinguished Fernando de Castilla bodega, culminating in our renowned Pettersen Extra Old Brandy, unveiled in 2009.
Crafted in the heart of Jerez de la Frontera, our brandy captures the essence of quality and Spanish craftsmanship, aged through the Solera process.
The bodega
Welcome to the heart of Jerez de la Frontera, the birthplace of our exquisite Pettersen Extra Old and Signature Brandy. Right in the hustle and bustle of the city center, you'll find us sprawled across 4,000 m2 of charming historic buildings, some dating as far back as 1837.
Since laying claim to this property in 1999, we've restored it to its original glory, all while respecting and maintaining its historic façades, some of which are even protected for their heritage value.
But we're not just about history and architecture. Our facilities are used for storing and bottling brandy, and we have a friendly customer/visitor department that welcomes many brandy enthusiasts like you, curious to learn and share in our passion.

Let's dive into the heart of Jerez, or as you may know it in English, Sherry, the birthplace of the iconic drink bearing its name.
Home to just over 200,000 people, Jerez is not just a city—it's an experience. This charming spot is located on the Atlantic Coast, Costa De La Luz, with a rich tapestry of history intertwined with an undying devotion to wine production.
One of the wine-based spirits produced in Jerez is Brandy de Jerez, which boasts a unique flavor profile and strict regulations for its production. Pettersen extra Old and Signature Brandy are crafted in Jerez following these strict rules, including the absence of artificial substances or sugar. Each bottling undergoes stringent controls, and a sample is sent for analysis to regulatory authorities, ensuring that consumers can always trust what they drink.
